Dredging: Over the past few years, we have evolved from a basic dredging company to a comprehensive dredging services provider. We are the largest dredging organization for the past two decades, offering a diverse range of services including maintenance dredging, capital dredging, and environmental dredging solutions.
Job Purpose: Superintendent - Mechanical Maintenance oversees the maintenance operations of dredging vessels and associated equipment, focusing on mechanical components like gearboxes and hydraulic systems to ensure fleet reliability and availability.
Responsibilities:
Resource Management:

• Effectively allocate workshop resources and skilled manpower based on task priorities and project schedules to ensure optimal utilization and achieve desired results within specified time frames.

Budget Control:

• Monitor costs, manage one-time Capex projects within time and budget, and prepare necessary budgets.

Mechanical System Effectiveness:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive mechanical maintenance strategy to ensure the reliability and efficiency of mechanical equipment, including gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and transmissions.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Ensure the effectiveness of mechanical equipment by calibrating critical instruments per OEM recommendations, conducting regular inspections, implementing preventive maintenance, and supporting RCA and CAPA procedures.

Indigenization and Innovation:

• Identify opportunities for indigenizing assemblies and components to reduce dependency on external suppliers, collaborate with engineering teams to develop local manufacturing or sourcing strategies, and implement innovative solutions to enhance workshop capabilities and efficiency.

Health and Safety:

• Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring adherence to safe practices and policies.

• Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Team Development:

• Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.

Qualifications:
Education Qualification:

• Diploma in Mechanical (Essential) or B Tech (Desirable)

Work Experience (Range of years):

• 10-15 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
