Act as key point of contact between on-site staff, project managers, consultants, and contractors.
Provide regular progress updates and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
Site Execution and Monitoring: Oversee day-to-day construction activities for pipelines, storage tanks, pumping stations, and associated utilities.
Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety protocols. * Safety Compliance: Enforce safety norms during high-risk tasks like welding, testing, and handling flammable or pressurized systems. Conduct toolbox talks, ensure use of PPE, and facilitate safety audits at site. * Resource Management: Supervise deployment of manpower, tools, and equipment (welding machines, NDT tools, testing equipment). Coordinate material availability (pipes, valves, instrumentation) to prevent work stoppages. * Quality Assurance & Testing: Monitor quality of construction work, ensuring adherence to QA/QC plans. Support testing activities including hydrostatic testing, leak detection, and NDT, ensuring results meet standards. * Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks related to liquid and gas handling, such as leaks, fire hazards, pipeline ruptures, equipment failures, and environmental spills. Conduct regular site inspections to spot unsafe conditions or deviations from standard procedures. * Stakeholder Management: Manage and guide vendor/contractor teams for timely and efficient work progress. Resolve execution-related issues, escalate critical challenges, and ensure minimal disruption to the schedule. * Documentation & Reporting: Maintain site records including daily progress reports, resource logs, and test reports. Report work status, risks, and mitigation actions to Section Head and other stakeholders. * Team Development: Treat employees with respect and provide a safe workplace. Lead teams with a focus on collaboration, productivity, accountability, and growth. Mentor team members and build a talent pool of future leaders.

Qualifications:
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical/chemical engineering.
Work Experience: 8-12 years of experience in constructing liquid and gas terminals, pipelines, and storage tanks.
