Job Purpose: Associate Lead - ESG is responsible for supporting the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives within Data Center operations with understanding of sustainable practices, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement. Role palys an important role in aligning ESG goals with business strategy & objectives.
Responsibilities:
ESG Strategy & Planning:
Coordinating & implementing ESG strategies/programs/initiatives.
Environmental Impact Assessment:
Coordinate environmental impact assessments and implementing sustainable practices within Data Center operations. Continuously evaluating and enhancing ESG programs to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborating with internal teams to integrate ESG considerations into decision-making processes. Engaging with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, investors, and community groups, to communicate ESG efforts and build partnerships.
Governance & Compliance:
Reporting on ESG performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability. Ensure compliance of ESG requirements as per local laws & rules. Coordinate & report implemention of ESG performance metrics and tracking systems. Document & report ESG performance.
Workforce Capability-Building:
Coordinate workforce capability-building agenda & plans. Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on ESG best practices and compliance requirements.
Digital mindset:
Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness. Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications:
Education:
BE/BTech in any discipline (preferably in Environmental engineering, OR Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) with relevant professional qualification/certification in ESG.
Certification(s):
Relevant certification(s) in ESG &/or environmental impact assessment &/or sustainability (Examples: CDP, GRI, SASB)
Experience:
6-10 years' experience in implementing ESG initiatives in data center &/or construction industries with knowledeg of ESG frameworks and reporting standards (e.g., TCFD, SDGs, GRI Standards)
