Job Purpose: Associate Lead - Procurement will develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives. This role involves sourcing and negotiating contracts, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy:
Implement procurement strategies that support company goals. Ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Cost Management:
Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to reduce procurement expenses. Implement strategies to optimize procurement costs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth procurement processes and integration with other business functions.
Supplier Management:
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and conduct regular performance reviews. Address and resolve any supplier issues.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Monitor adherence to standards and regulations.
Management Insights:
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on procurement best practices and strategic decisions.
Market Awareness:
Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions. Use this knowledge to inform procurement strategies and decisions.
Reporting:
Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and other key metrics to senior management.
Digital mindset:
Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness. Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's degree
Work Experience:
6-10 years of experience in procurement of electrical/mechanical/civil commodities of infrastructure projects
Certification:
Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management preferred
