Responsibilities

• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Analyzing contract terms, identifying risks, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve contract-related queries and concerns.
• Ensuring proper maintenance and storage of contractual documents in organizational databases.
• Providing strategic advice and guidance to the business on contractual risk mitigation.
• Keeping abreast of legal updates to ensure contracts are compliant with the latest laws and regulations.
• Handling disputes and claims arising out of contractual obligations and ensuring timely resolutions.

Requirements

• A law degree (LL.B or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management/legal operations.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, including drafting and negotiation.
• Demonstrated ability to assess risks and provide practical legal solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in legal and contract-related software tools is an added advantage.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment will be preferred.
