Role description

Job Title:

Derivative Services - OTC

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Manage assigned tasks with attention to timeliness and accuracy. Escalate when deadlines or risk thresholds are at stake. Act as a subject matter expert and support junior team members with guidance and troubleshooting. Reconcile and resolve stock or cash discrepancies; escalate high-risk or unresolved items promptly. Handle ad hoc projects and additional responsibilities, ensuring timely completion. Communicate effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to resolve queries. Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, operational risk frameworks, and compliance policies. Proactively identify and suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery. Foster collaboration across teams, promote a positive team culture, and build strong internal and external relationships. Maintain and update standard operating procedures; raise process or control gaps to senior staff as needed.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

Technical Systems Knowledge:

+ Proficiency with Aladdin, CTM, CLS, and SWIFT.

Trade Lifecycle Experience:

+ Solid understanding of global markets and asset management operations.
+ Hands-on experience in trade operations across multiple asset classes: equities, fixed income, FX, and money markets.
+ Knowledge of derivatives processing and collateral management.
+ Familiarity with cash operations and payment processing.
+ Understanding of SWIFT messaging protocols.
+ Exposure to corporate actions and income processing.
+ Awareness of operational risks throughout the transaction and asset lifecycle.

Experience with a wide range of OTC derivatives and related products. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., formulas, lookups, pivot tables). High attention to detail and a proactive mindset. Prior mentoring or coaching experience. Strong organizational skills with the ability to delegate effectively. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Continuous improvement mindset; openness to feedback and innovation.
