Job Purpose:

Preparing reports and MIS for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling the operational and project costs to ensure cost efficiency and profitability

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and track annual budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates Monitor and control production costs across steelmaking operations, including raw materials Analyze cost per ton for billets, slabs, coils, bars, or other steel products and identify variances against budget

Qualifications & Experience:

B.com, M.Com, ICWA/CA/MBA-Finance

Work Ex:

0-3 years

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of cost accounting and cost control in manufacturing operations
Expertise in product costing, cost per ton analysis, and variance analysis
Budgeting, forecasting, and standard costing skills
Knowledge of energy cost management (power, fuel, gas)
Inventory control, material consumption norms, and yield analysis
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle), especially CO, MM, and PP modules
Advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, cost models, dashboards)
