Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Digitizer to accurately digitize and maintain geospatial data within our GIS systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of GIS principles and software, including QGIS, AutoCAD, and GE Smallworld. You will be responsible for digitizing new assets, updating existing network assets, creating and updating landbase/map data, and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of all geospatial information. Responsibilities:

• Digitize new assets in GIS software according to Single Line Diagram (SLD) sheets.
• Update existing network assets and their attributes as needed.
• Create landbase/map data in GIS using satellite images as a reference.
• Update existing landbase features, including building footprints, road widening, and attribute data such as building names, types, and addresses.
• Maintain data integrity and quality through regular quality checks and validation.
• Collaborate with GIS team members to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Adhere to GIS best practices and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field with Proficient in QGIS, AutoCAD, and GE Smallworld software.
• 1-8 years of experience in GIS data digitization and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of GIS principles, data structures, and spatial analysis techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
