Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the mechanical team to ensure smooth operation of the power plant
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize mechanical systems and processes
• Oversee maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall plant performance
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Implement cost-effective measures without compromising on quality
• Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements
• Prepare reports and present findings to senior management
• Mentor and coach junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems in the power/energy industry
• Proficiency in CAD software for design and analysis
• Experience with maintenance planning and reliability engineering
• Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer
