Key Responsibilities
Post cash receipts to customer accounts from banking platforms on a daily basis.
Raising payments on the banking systems.
Bank reconciliations.
Contact customers for remittance advices and to discuss queries.
Liaison with credit control and accounts payable teams to identify and post transactions accurately and on a timely basis.
Working with Cash & Bank Manager to streamline processes.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Prior experience in an Account Receivable/cash & bank or accounting role.
High attention to accuracy and detail is a must.
Experience of handling high volumes of transactions methodically and ability to prioritise workload.
Excellent numeracy & analytical skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Able to work to deadlines.
Proactive and able to work tasks without ongoing direction.
Able to develop strong relationships with stakeholders in ESS.
Team player with the ability to share knowledge .
