) is hiring for Category Associate - Event Venues. As part of the venues team, you will support our Dubai-based category manager in handling venue-related event inquiries. You'll assist event planners by shortlisting suitable venues, coordinating with suppliers remotely, and managing CRM updates to ensure accurate data flow.
This role is key in driving smooth venue sourcing and recommendations for clients.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Build and maintain a strong database of suppliers, catalogues, pricing, and technical specifications across furniture, exhibition, and AV categories.
Assist the event planning team by identifying the
best-fit product and supplier options
for each client brief.
Support negotiations to ensure competitive pricing and healthy margins.
Track and manage quotations, supplier confirmations, and pricing consistency using CRM systems.
Monitor category performance metrics such as response times, margins, and conversion rates.
Provide inputs for
business planning
, including pricing strategy, supplier expansion, and demand analysis.
Generate reports and dashboards for category reviews and decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Events, Hospitality, or Production Management (1-4 years of experience).
Prior exposure to event production, exhibitions, or AV setups is a plus.
Strong business acumen with ability to analyze numbers and support planning/negotiations.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and vendor coordination skills.
Fluent in English & Hindi; Arabic/Tagalog proficiency is an advantage.
Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel/Google Sheets, and presentation software.
