About this opportunity

You will also be responsible for receiving trouble reports from the Operator\'s Customer Care Center (or from the Operator\'s customer directly in some very specific cases), resolving them to the customer\'s satisfaction and providing meaningful status on repair and/or restoration activity to the Customer Care Center (or to the Operators\' customers).

What you will do
  • 3+ year\'s experience working in Transmission Assurance (level 1, 2 or 3)
  • Experience with Operation/Support of SDH network, preferably manufactured by Marconi, Ericsson, GPT
  • Experience with Operation/Support of DWDM network, preferably Ciena, Marconi and Ericsson.
  • Hands on experience with apply triage and troubleshooting Telecommunication network incidents with transmission infrastructure.
  • Experience with optic fibre infrastructure architecture and management
  • Understand of jeopardy management practices and principles
  • Understand of ITIL methodology or equivalent
  • Understand of Change Management fundamentals
  • Ability to describe, capture and record technical information that can be present both verbally and written format.
  • To be able to work as part of a team and be intuitive to the business and customer needs.
  • Trouble Ticket /Change Request handling as per SLA/WLA. Customer Service Requests (CSR) handling (Analysis, Troubleshooting, and Corrective Maintenance) for the complex faults.
  • To handle emergencies and on-call support (24X7). Solution Management for Customized Business Object - Templates / Reports.
  • Co-ordination with GSDC/PDU/PLM and Coordination with external suppliers for 3PP Hardware Support.
  • Knowledge of IT network infrastructure and Solid Customer Support experience.
You will bring
  • Minimum 3to 8years of relevant experience of which at least 3 years must have been spent working on Ericsson Txn domain.
  • Good knowledge & understanding of Support Processes. Should be customer oriented. Should work well under time constraints.
  • Good oral & written communication skills. Should actively contribute to improvements and changes.
