ABOUT ROLE :
You will work closely with the team manager to identify and establish DevOps practices in the company.
You will help us build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure. Youll implement monitoring for automated system health checks. Lastly, youll build our CI pipeline, and train and guide the team in DevOps practices for salesforce platforms. You will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with AWS Cloud, wed love to speak with you.
Responsibilities: Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system.

Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.

Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems.

Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products.

System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms.

Provision of critical system security by demonstrating standard methodologies and prolific cloud security solutions.

Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.

Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform.

Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes.

Strong troubleshooting, debugging skills. Good performance diagnostic skills

Good understanding of "infrastructure as code" principles.

Knowledge of a scripting language such Bash, PowerShell or DSC.

Ability to configure infrastructure and build a deployment pipeline using AWS DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Gitlab.

Proficiency in a high-level programming language such as C#, Python, Java. Understanding of container technologies such as Docker

Tools: AWS DevOps Engineer with 5 years of experience.

Hands-on experience working on AWS and Google Cloud.

At least one-year exp in microservices using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), ingress and api gateways.

Container and automation tools such as Docker, Terraform and Ansible.

In-depth knowledge of Networks topology and cloud Security.

Well-versed with at-least two scripting languages - Shell and one more (Python, Ruby).

Sound understanding of OS (Linux, CentOS) and OS hardening.

Capable of leading a team of ops and ability of prepare and implement a vision.

Should be able to work Independently and implement tasks with precision.

Code Build and Release management (CICD) using GIT and Jenkins, Bitbucket and bamboo.

Optimizing and monitoring server performance and infrastructure cost optimizations.

Operation and architecture of multi-tier distributed systems Involving load balancers, firewalls, elastic compute, RDS and KAFKA.

Working closely with the engineering team to deploy and maintain the infrastructure.

Automate and streamline our operations and processes for scale.

Maintain SLAs by tuning systems according to scale.

Designing systems at scale to make sure solutions built are economical and secured.

Strong understanding of immutable infrastructure and infrastructure as code concepts.

Experience with Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments.

Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewall.

Experience with monitoring and log aggregating frameworks such as Kafka, Logstash, ElastiSearch, CloudWatch, Sumologic, or Splunk
