JOB DESCRIPTION | Associate Engineer - Technology Integration

Experian India is looking for a Associate Engineer to join Credit Bureau development team. The candidate would possess a strong analytical mind, be a technical and creative thinker, have a strong aptitude for problem solving, and have zero tolerance for inefficiencies in software development & deliveries. The ideal candidate will have excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, along with the fervent desire to continuously learn about different products and technologies.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate escalation for tickets/issues with internal engineers, staff, and vendors to reach timely resolution
• Coordinate technical troubleshooting sessions with customers and internal technical teams
• Add to and update training materials and knowledgebase as new items are discovered, and new functionality deployed.
• Troubleshoot complex product and technical issues
• Escalate complex issues to technical and product resources with the appropriate information to resolve the customer's inquiry
• Provide timely customer feedback on application enhancements and fixes
• Maintain ownership of timely customer communication and follow-up when issues are escalated to product development teams
• Log and manage all issues worked within ServiceNow
• Manage and troubleshoot customer and user configurations
• Educate and empower customers to maximize utilization of products, tools, and services
• Maintain proficient knowledge of all product and service changes
• Document solutions that can be reused internally and externally
• Suggesting and driving forward infrastructure and tooling improvements that enable the business to confidently operate at pace.
• Understand short and long-term goals and objectives and recommends technical solutions and services

Qualifications

More about you

• 2-4 Years Experience in Java Application or Platform Support .
• Programming Skills: Well Programming skills with Extensive knowledge of object-oriented JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with various architectures: Domain Driven Design, Microservices, Cloud Native and Event Driven Architecture.
• Constant curiosity and a desire to improve yourself and your fellow engineers.
• Experience and exposure to DevOps cultures and practices.
• Exposure to Financial Services and Banking concepts.
• Networking: Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and
• services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP).
