Job Description


Join the engineering team as a Java Engineer in Banking and Financial Services. We are building the Digital Bank of the future and we are doing it with our customers by our side. We understand that banking in the future will be predominantly digital, so we are building our digital platforms from the ground up to match. In this dynamic and high performing team, you will be an integral part of developing cutting-edge applications to help us to continue to build our Digital Bank. In this role, you will help implement the technical solutions for the next generation wealth platform, be involved in hands-on Java development. You will engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders globally to effectively drive solutions in line with the target architecture. Take ownership of operational issues and perform both short-term resolutions and development of preventative measures for the long-term. You will be responsible for the application flow including configuration, scheduling control and scripting, whilst proactively monitoring system health. You will be responsible for problem, change, incident management and automation of monitoring. To be successful in this role, you will be innovative, can learn and use new technologies quickly and effectively. You will also be willing to work across different time zones as needed. You will also have the following technical knowledge and experience: Strong technical expertise in Java 8 or above, collection framework, Concurrency, memory management etc. Spring Boot Microservices Rest APIs Cloud (AWS/GCP) CI/CD Good knowledge of Spring, Spring boot, Junit, Unix/Linux scripting skills. Good knowledge of DB (Sybase /Oracle) and should be able to write complex DB queries. Good knowledge of any of the messaging middle wares like Kafka, MQ, Solace etc Familiarity with Enterprise application Integration architectures and patterns If this sounds like the right opportunity to further your career, apply online now.
