Job Summary



This role is within the Transaction Banking Sales team, covering NBFI clients for their cash management business

Delivering cash budget and drivers, as per allocated budget Identifying explicit / implied client needs, engaging key decision makers and developing solutions for NBFI clients Create value proposition and provide complex structure guidance to clients across India and Standard Chartered network locations

Strategy



Responsible for growing Transaction Banking business Understanding the Group's business strategy from a CCIB and Transaction Banking perspective

Business



Complete ownership to ensure revenue and driver targets are delivered Work closely with the respective CIB Relationship teams and internal business partners to originate new TB business and deepen client relationships Run portfolio planning, competition mapping and partnering with other business verticals for cross sell opportunities, including fx Understand client ecosystem and identify opportunities to bank the suppliers and customers; add value to the client with open account solutions

Continuously improve the way we work

Understand the local and international wallet in terms of size, potential, buyer behaviours and competitor analysis for our clients Provide market intelligence to Product Team on new ideas and product enhancements Play and active role in credit & compliance approvals

Understanding the bank's processes relevant for the job role Identify and recommend appropriate changes to streamline client's transactional journey

Ensure risk monitoring as an integral part of the business Proactively identify risks associated with the underlying business and contribute to introducing appropriate mitigants Being aware and understanding the bank's risk appetite and controls in place

Strict compliance with the Bank's policies Ensure adherence to all internal & external regulations; risk monitoring as an integral part of the business process Ensure that the business meets its obligation under group policy and standards and under the local laws and regulation Manage all sales related activities through effective use of workbench/crmx

Transaction banking product knowledge Communication and presentation Skills Client relationship management skills Business understanding of client business models with acumen on new client acquisition Sales skills with excellent negotiation, presentation, and client acquisition skills Understanding of recent technologies in cash management and trade finance Deal closure and execution skills Ability to communicate with all levels in an organization Team player Strong cross- cultural awareness and interpersonal skills

Qualifications



CA / MBA with 6+ years of experience in Trade / Cash Sales covering NBFI clients
