About the Role:

The Team:
You will report to the Analytical Manager, Structured Finance, in Hong Kong and work closely with highly experienced analysts. Our team values a global mindset and effective communication, fostering a dynamic environment that supports career growth and development.
The Impact:
You will play a crucial analytical role, providing analysis, research, and market engagement to support to the priorities for India Structured Finance market. As an Associate Director, you will engage with market participants to understand and inform our research and analytical approaches for the nascent Indian Structured Finance market. As a self-starter, you will lead and coordinate research and publications as well as serve as a speaker representing S&P at external events and forums.
In addition, you will provide support to analysts on transactions and assignments independently. You will conduct credit and financial analysis, with support from senior analysts, review and manage data, run credit models, analyse cash flows, and prepare analytical documentation. Your insights and recommendations will be pivotal in influencing rating outcomes and maintaining S&P Global Ratings' leadership in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present analysis and recommendations to primary analysts or credit committees, ensuring thorough and accurate evaluations.
• Conduct analyses on structured finance transactions with support from senior analysts.
• Collaborate closely with analysts to provide research and analysis for the Structured Finance team.
• Review and run cash flow models to support transaction evaluations and decision-making.
• Analyse data and review documentation to support the analytical team.
• Undertake research to support S&P Global Ratings' published commentaries.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• A S&P employee at this level typically has 10+ years of analytical work experience in credit analysis.
• Relevant industry experience in securitization and credit analysis, with a strong foundation in analytical fields are both a preference and a requirement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global environment.
• Experience in managing and interpreting data for analytical purposes.
• Ability to multi-task and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced, global, and regulated environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Experience and capability of using credit models and/or cash flow models is a plus.
