About the Role
The Associate Director of SAP is responsible for leading and managing the implementation, operations, and continuous improvement of SAP S4/HANA and related systems within the organization. This role ensures that SAP solutions align with business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and support strategic goals. The Associate Director will collaborate with various departments to drive the successful deployment and integration of SAP applications & projects, ensuring they meet the organization's needs and industry best practices.
What You'll Do:
As Head of SAP, responsible for solution design, implementation, support, and compliance of S4/HANA.
Manage SAP project lifecycle, viz. requirements gathering, gap analysis, business blueprinting, solution design and development; system integration testing, stakeholder management, change management, and end-user training.
Ensure Mergers & Acquisition projects are executed on time as per organizational requirements and as per defined implementation/ roll-out plans.
Work closely with business teams to identify pain areas & process gaps; evaluate and alleviate the same by implementing application and reporting solutions. Carry out tollgate and post implementation reviews to check customer satisfaction and realign solutions where required.
Manage SAP S4/HANA day-to-day operations for optimal performance, security, and reliability. Lead the team of SAP consultants to support production operations, resolving incidents across various modules while ensuring root causes are addressed within SLA.
In case of critical issues, work hands-on with the partner support teams to find the root cause and resolve issues.
Ensure all S4/HANA access governance, master data governance, third party interfaces operate as per plan with zero compliance risks.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify process improvement and process automation opportunities. Collaborate with the relevant teams to implement and deliver the productivity gains as planned.
Develop strategies for SAP upgrades, enhancements, and customizations.
Build IT Processes & Governance as Best Practices, ensure Information Security, Data Leak Prevention, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery/ High Availability; and ensure GXP, ITGC, SOX & ISO 27001 compliance.
Ensure governance reporting on all projects and daily operations as per agreed plans.

Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in any discipline within information technology and
SAP Certification (FI/SD/MM)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Significant experience in solution designing, implementation and maintenance of SAP systems.
Proven track record in managing end-to-end SAP S4/HANA implementations.
Must have experience in managing multiple strategic projects / work-streams.
Strong working exposure with SAP GRC, Integration Suites/ Middleware.
Experience in leading ITGC, SOX and ISO27001 compliance.
Experience in business process re-engineering and sales/ finance transformation, along with process automations
Desirable to have experience in a business role in Sales/ Finance/ Supply Chain, and in GXP validation of systems.
Must be an excellent leader and mentor.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and use strong writing and verbal skills to communicate facts, figures, and ideas to others.
Work collaboratively across all business functions with an open, honest, and respectful cooperation.
