As a part of the Marsh Advisory team in Knowledge Services function of MMGS, the colleague would support our Middle East Business Resilience (BR) stakeholders and provide solutions in the increasing needs of Business Continuity and Crisis Management.

MMGS is a global knowledge center for Marsh McLennan and houses teams, which work closely with the colleagues across various operating units and locations. This position is out of our Mumbai, India office of MMGS.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to help clients mitigate some of their most difficult problems across various risks.

• Help build out the value proposition for the BR team in the area of Business Continuity, Crisis Management and IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR)
• Help with identification, assessment, analysis and prioritization of the business continuity and crisis management plans for Marsh\xe2\x80\x99s clients
• Perform extensive research and create client-centric risk management and continuity frameworks
• Create client ready presentations and deliverables
• Work alongside team members to ensure the timely completion of deliverables

We will count on you to:

• Help build the business continuity, crisis management and ITDR value proposition by consistently innovating and enhancing the existing solutions
• Conduct extensive research to enhance the input and output and improve the value proposition of the project findings and recommendations
• Assimilate and analyse data, craft working models / frameworks and prepare recommendations for presentation to client management
• Effectively communicate the findings and recommendations, its parameters, its assumptions and its inner workings to audiences who vary widely in their levels of technical fluency and seniority
• Evaluate and develop or refine client\xe2\x80\x99s Business Continuity Management, Emergency Response and/or Crisis Management programs, including:

• Develop program administrative structures, policies, and standards
• Conduct Business Impact Analysis
• Identify and evaluate mitigation and recovery strategies for critical processes and resources
• Guide client engagements to draft Business Continuity Plans , Emergency Response Plans and Crisis Management Plans
• Develop and conduct awareness and training sessions
• Provide implementation support in execution of aforementioned programs and activities

• Monitor and report on various identified metrics of the BCM program
• Develop and participate in the table-top drills under different rolls, observer, evaluator, facilitator and assist in compiling reports
• Follow up and ensure completion of BCM/ER/CM tasks such as Business Impact Analysis, Function Handover, Trainings, Drills etc. by LoS/BU within specified timeline
• Build a sound project management system in place and ensure documentation of project briefs to the end delivery
• Lead client calls and deliveries independently \xe2\x80\x93 this will require frequent travel to the client site in Middle East
• Support development of practice marketing collateral
• Assist in new business development activities, including prospect research and proposal development

What you need to have:

• Masters in Economics / Business / Finance / Statistics / Econometrics etc. or Engineering + MBA from a reputed university or college

• Willing to travel to Middle East for client engagements and deliveries
• 8 to 10 years of experience in Business Continuity, Crisis Management and ITDR consulting
• Demonstrated experience in ISO 22301 and NFPA 1600 Standards
• Experience of ERM and Risk frameworks will be an added advantage
• Good level of familiarity in ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 31000 and COSO frameworks
• Ability to lead client deliveries independently \xe2\x80\x93 a strong individual contributor
• Should have managed and handled a team of Business Resilience professionals in the past
• Experience in IT Disaster Recovery will give the candidate an edge

• Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
• Exceptional project management and multi-tasking skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication - English
• A team player with extraordinary interpersonal skills with demonstrated stakeholder management

• Familiarity with core statistical concepts e.g., correlation, regressions, significance values, etc.
