Role and Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement:

  • Provide strategic leadership in IT asset procurement activities
  • Formulate and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead negotiations with vendors for large-scale purchases and complex contracts
  • Mentor and guide junior procurement staff
Vendor Relationship Management:
  • Leverage extensive experience to manage key vendor relationships
  • Negotiate and manage high-value vendor contracts
  • Resolve complex vendor-related issues and escalations
License Compliance Oversight:
  • Assume responsibility for software license compliance at an enterprise level
  • Conduct comprehensive software license audits and maintain impeccable compliance records
  • Provide guidance on software license optimization strategies
Asset Lifecycle Leadership:
  • Lead the end-of-life process for IT assets, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations
  • Oversee secure data erasure from decommissioned hardware
Cost Optimization Strategy:
  • Identify and implement advanced cost-saving strategies
  • Drive asset utilization optimization to maximize ROI and minimize wastage
Documentation and Reporting Excellence:
  • Establish advanced documentation standards for IT asset records and procurement transactions
  • Generate sophisticated reports on asset utilization, procurement costs, and compliance
Must Haves:
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skill
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Expertise in software licensing and compliance
  • Proficiency in procurement software and system
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements
Experience and Skills:
  • 12-15 years of experience in IT asset procurement, with a proven track record of senior leadership
  • Engineering or Bachelor\'s/ Master\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Finance, Supply chain management, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of IT hardware and software products
  • Mastery of procurement processes, negotiation, and vendor management
