About the Role:

The Team: The team is responsible for providing high quality Support across a wide suite of products across business segments with Risk & Valuation Services (RVS) business line. The team works closely with a highly competent MI Tech Shared Service teams, OCTO teams, Client Services teams and the core project teams to maintain and improve the platform by strengthening security posture, managing client issues and senior stakeholders. Our work helps ensure that all products are provided a high-quality service and maintaining client satisfaction. The team is responsible for owning and maintaining our cloud hosted apps.

This Senior Architect role anchors the Agentic AI and AIOps strategy within the S&P Global RVS Technical Operations organization. The role focuses on designing and delivering AI-driven solutions that modernize and transform Technical Operations, enabling intelligent automation, predictive insights, and proactive incident management across the TechOps lifecycle.
As a hands-on technical architect and individual contributor, you will lead the execution of Agentic AI capabilities-bringing strategy to life through scalable, reusable, and production-ready solutions. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Transformation teams to embed agentic patterns into day-to-day operational workflows, ensuring solutions are reliable, observable, secure, and governed at enterprise scale.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Agentic AI solutions to enhance Technical Operations, including runbook automation, predictive analytics, and incident prediction, detection, and prevention.
• Drive the execution of the AI Ops strategy by translating vision into practical architectures, patterns, and working implementations.
• Architect and build intelligent agents that integrate with existing TechOps platforms, tools, and workflows.
• Create reusable blueprints, frameworks, and reference implementations for agent-based automation across Technical Operations teams.
• Ensure agent solutions are production-ready, with strong observability, reliability, security, and governance controls.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Transformation teams to embed Agentic AI into the full Technical Operations lifecycle.
• Lead adoption by demonstrating value, enabling teams, and promoting best practices for Agentic AI and AIOps.
• Evaluate emerging AI and agentic technologies and recommend approaches that align with enterprise standards and operational needs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong experience designing and building AI-driven or automation-heavy platforms in large-scale, enterprise environments.
• Hands-on expertise with AIOps, agent-based systems, automation frameworks, or intelligent orchestration.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into executable technical solutions as an individual contributor.
• Deep understanding of Technical Operations domains such as incident management, observability, reliability engineering, and operational automation.
• Experience creating scalable architectures, reusable patterns, and technical blueprints.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, and Transformation.
• Ability to balance innovation with operational rigor, governance, and reliability.
