:About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use): 12In Platform Engineering we are working to lead multiple products and organizations forward as they transform and modernize in the Cloud. This position requires excellent communication, collaboration and technical skills in Infrastructure design and deployment in Cloud Platforms. The individual will lead a team of Platform Engineers across the globe that are responsible for building automation to deliver Infrastructure solutions across the organization.Mandatory skills include:

  • Minimum of 5 years people leadership experience
  • Strong AWS experience
  • Strong Terraform experience
  • Strong understanding of Git (GitHub preferred)
  • Experience in working and planning Agile workflows for your team
  • Strong scripting in any of the following: PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc
  • Experience in writing YAML based pipelines
  • Extensive experience in designing highly available and scalable solutions
  • Strong documentation and design experience
  • The ability to design and budget cloud based platforms for leadership review
  • Experience in both Windows and Linux platforms
  • Container experience
  • Some working knowledge and understanding of MSSQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL
  • The ability to think "outside of the box" and provide alternate solutions and ideas to help overcome challenges
  • The ability to work with a global team and support multiple work streams while ensuring timelines are met and delivered as expected
Preferred skills:
  • Azure and/or Google Cloud experience
  • Some knowledge of Ansible and or Puppet for orchestration
  • Packer experience
  • Kafka experience
  • Kubernetes and/or Fargate experience
