We are seeking an enthusiastic and visionary Associate Director of Sales to join our dynamic team in Kathmandu, Nepal. This senior-level position plays a crucial role in driving our sales strategies and leading our sales team to achieve ambitious goals in the vibrant Nepalese market and beyond.
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives
Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of sales operations
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities in Nepal and internationally
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Create and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior management
Oversee the development and maintenance of the customer database
Initiate and drive new customer acquisition strategies
Coordinate with the marketing department to align sales and marketing efforts
Monitor and optimize sales processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
Set and track individual and team sales targets, ensuring they are met or exceeded
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sales management, with a focus on the Nepalese market
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of achieving targets
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies
Strong customer focus with a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Fluency in English; knowledge of Nepali or other local languages is a plus
In-depth knowledge of the Nepalese market and business culture
Experience in international sales or working with global clients
Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
