The Lilly Bengaluru, BI&A (Business Insights & Analytics) team was started in 2017 with the objective of supporting business decisions for the commercial and marketing functions in the US and ex-US affiliates. The team currently comprises of ~300 team members, with varied backgrounds and skills across data democratization, data engineering, analytics and data sciences, market research. The team works across customer segments which include HCPs, Payer and HCOs, Consumer and Med Affairs.
This role is for an Associate Director for the Global Consumer and HCP Media analytics group to lead a team responsible for delivering impactful data-driven insights that drive business decisions across the organization focussing on Unified experience across geographies, Lilly Direct, Masterbrand and IBU products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business stakeholders, to integrate analytics into key business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
People and Project Leadership

  • Overall accountability of work delivered by the team ensuring highest standards of quality and timeliness in an evolving business environment
  • Mentor a team of project leads and individual contributors to help define and achieve ambitious goals and play an active role in their career development
  • Work with a variety of stakeholders to build strong relationships of trust with team members
  • Play an active role in annual performance evaluations
  • Play an active role in defining and standardizing frameworks and processes for project management and execution to ensure efficiency and optimal utilization of resources
  • Work closely with product and business teams to ensure seamless integration of analytics into business processes, driving alignment between data insights and strategic initiatives and ensure that insights inform and support decision-making across various functions.
  • Oversee the delivery of analytics projects, ensuring high-quality, timely outputs. Guide the team in developing reporting tools, dashboards, and data models that help stakeholders understand key metrics and make informed business decision
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of analytics projects, including defining project scope, setting clear objectives, and ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in project execution.
Technical Leadership
  • Provide leadership to technical and technology focused teams to assist with solution design and help remove barriers the teams may be facing
  • Facilitate collaboration between team and adjacent business facing customers or IT teams
  • Identify future opportunities and business needs and expand capabilities of the group
Required Skills and Expertise:
  • 6-10 years in product management or analytics, including 2-3 years leading cross-functional teams; experience in consumer media, advertising, or digital analytics is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behaviour modelling, digital advertising, and media analytics is preferable
  • Skilled in Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework, with experience managing multiple projects, sprints, and backlogs
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills; adept at mentoring teams and collaborating across technical and business units.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of delivering data-driven insights and articulating product strategy to diverse audiences.
