Job Description


Role Title: Assoc. Director DD&IT OPS Mfg Sites Integration Location: Hyderabad About the Role: . Ensure Operational Excellence within function. . Hold end to end accountability for business processes, integrate services horizontally across organizational units, and manage interfaces between Service Delivery and OpEx . Deliver on the approved initiatives and implement the process improvements. . Provide data insights and financial reports. . Support in developing the strategic plans and initiatives. Key Responsibilities: . Be accountable for the quality of IT Services of an end-to-end business process, proactively align between service delivery managers and business and Drive adoption of global solutions . Support Service Delivery Managers when consulting with the business-Ensure interdependencies between projects and requirements from different Service Delivery managers are considered-Support Service Delivery Managers and Demand & Supply Managers on demand shaping, assembly and effort estimation. . Support to develop strategic plans for the Function and the visibility of mid-term and portfolio plans for the supported business areas . Contribute to the development and evolution of the DDIT Operating Model and support its deployment in the Function. Proactively identify DDIT operating model improvement areas. . Support the Global Head of Function or Heads in day-to-day management and act as one integrated team with other Strategic Planning and Business Operations associates across the DDIT functions to ensure standardized and best-in-class solutions are being implemented. . Manage the execution of key operational processes for the Function such as: financial reporting and budgeting planning, hiring and location strategy, people development and upskilling, training, and communications, etc. to ensure smooth running of the business and achievement of operational targets . Monitor the Function\'s overall performance (services, quality, and financials) and proactively identify opportunities to increase service levels and mitigate any functional level risks or issues. . Drive the adoption of Ways of Working implemented on a local or global level in line with organizational direction and Liaise with external research and advisory companies and other Innovation Ecosystem participants to get familiar with the evolution of markets trends and bring innovative processes into the Function Diversity & Inclusion / EEO Minimum Requirements Essential Requirements: Education . Bachelor\'s degree in computer or IT related field or technical discipline Experience: . 10+ years\' experience working in an IT environment. . 5 years\' experience working in Novartis Operations or in an equivalent global environment. . Working experience within the pharmaceutical industry. . Extensive project management and change management experience. . Relationship Management - in particular: interactions with senior management. . Leveraging digital technology in manufacturing site operations. . Track record delivering global solutions at scale. . Collaborating across boundaries. . Experience delivering and managing manufacturing IT system operations in pharmaceutical industry. Competencies .
