This role will partner with merchandising and creative marketing to launch product, category and special feature assortments on our e-commerce site You will manage daily content operations and provide input as to best practices and workflows You will also participate in major and minor projects relating to site content and contribute to features that improve the core functionality of our website This role will report into the eCommerce Site Manager and will collaborate closely with the Herman Miller Web Merchandiser This role will involve in regular communication and collaboration with content management teams in India and other Global locations Essential Functions Supports product set-ups and product launches for our e-Commerce website. Publishes and proofs image and copy assets such as silos, environmental images, swatches, product specifications, and product descriptions. Works closely with Merchandising, Editorial, and Marketing to support digital sales and brand initiatives. Manages quality assurance and usability; checks to ensure all images, copy and products are functioning and rendering properly on the site. Conducts weekly and monthly site audits. Manages and organizes product photography and copy libraries. Coordinates the creative and technical implementation of digital content. Works collaboratively with internal teams and outside development agencies to support site enhancements and bug fixes. Contributes to the development of digital workflows and processes that grow the effectiveness and impact of the digital team. Keeps pace with digital trends and technologies, especially relating to direct-to-consumer best practices and provides relevant input to the team to continually better our web presence and digital awareness. Assists in other activities and projects to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the website. Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives. Ideal candidate Bachelors Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-4 years of experience within a web production environment. Knowledge of Bynder and Salesforce Commerce Cloud a plus. Experience with content management systems like AEM, Contentful or any other Headless CMS. Experience with web publishing software and toolkits like WordPress (Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, etc.) Familiar with web privacy and security principles. Attention to detail; outstanding problem-solving/multi-tasking skills; strong follow through skills. Motivated by challenge and enjoy taking initiative. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to remain flexible to change within the work environment and scope of responsibility. Resourceful and creative, looks for opportunities for improvement in workflow. Passion for digital culture, publishing and e-commerce. Previous experience within marketing or PR environments a plus. Strong analysis and troubleshooting ability. Desirable Experience in Contenful, Bynder and Salesforce Commerce Cloud a plus. Reporting structure Locally reporting to Team lead and IT manager in India Matrix reporting to eCommerce Site Manager - Herman Miller in the USA Skills and abilities Demonstrate high level of written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills to communicate information, ideas, procedures and processes in a logical sequence; at a level appropriate to the audience and resulting in effective working relationships. Demonstrate ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software and tools currently used in the Herman Miller office environment. Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. This role will work in the shift timings of 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. or 2:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. IST.
