This position is part of a team that delivers exceptional service to our patients, and also one where you will learn best practices while providing quality dental care. The Dentist must understand the sensitive nature of providing dental services to children and their families, and the importance of building a strong rapport with them. An ideal candidate will be passionate about giving the best care possible and establishing a good rapport with our patients, their parents and families.
Responsibilities:
Have a working knowledge of proper infection control measures.
Be able to explain treatment plans to patients and their families.
Be able to schedule appointments and manage the waiting room.
Be able to clean and sterilize instruments.
Be able to work with dental surgeons, dental hygienists, and other staff.
Be familiar with digital x-rays.
Have a working knowledge of all dental materials.
Have a working knowledge of the dental system and all insurance related issues concerning dentistry.
