Job Title: Associate Data Scientist
Job Location: Hinjewadi Phase 1, Pune (Remote)
Shift: 11:00AM to 8:00PM
Qualification: BTech, BCA, MCA, BE

Futurism Tech is looking for a passionate and analytical Associate Data Scientist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early career experience to build a strong foundation in data science, analytics, and machine learning while contributing to real-world business problems.
Key Responsibilities

• Work on data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing tasks to prepare datasets for analysis.
• Assist in developing and validating statistical models and machine learning algorithms.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and generate actionable insights.
• Support data visualization and reporting using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Document code, methodologies, and analysis results clearly.

• 0.5-1 year of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or related internship/work.
• Proficiency in Python or R, with experience using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or similar.
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts (regression, classification, clustering).
• Familiarity with SQL and ability to work with relational databases.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Power BI/Tableau).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git is a bonus.
