We\'re seeking a future team member for the role of Portfolio Analyst to join our Enterprise Sourcing team. This role is in Pune, MH In this role, you\'ll make an impact in the following ways: A person should be able to work independently on complex tasks/projects assigned to him, work with PMs and assist them in their day-to-day activities. A person would be responsible for preparing process documents and updating changes into these documents in timely manner. He should train Analysts and ensure quality of their work. He is expected to learn complex tasks from onshore and then train Pune team on this. A person should look for opportunities to automate routine tasks and implement necessary controls or check points into process. To be successful in this role, we\'re seeking the following: Very good understanding of Fixed Income Markets / instruments / products / benchmarks / portfolio Managements techniques. Should have understanding of performance attribution - calculation of returns, other factors. Develop understanding of Quant Investment models, interpretation of model strategy output Ability to troubleshoot and investigate deviations in output. Problem solving skills and Self-motivated Application/Systems knowledge: Hands on experience with Bloomberg, JPM DataQuery, other systems. Should be able to learn other in-house systems. General Competencies: Excellent communication skills Good Excel skills Knowledge of VBA/ Python/ SQL will be an added advantage Basic Qualification: MBA / CFA Level-1 Minimum Relevant Experience: 3 years At BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
