Job Title: Associate Data Engineer
Job Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days per week in office)
About the Role:
We are looking for an Associate Data Engineer with experience in analytical abilities in GCP BigQuery, ETL/BI, Python, Composer / Air\xef\xac\x82ow, SQL, GCP Services with the ability to operate in an agile environment and keen to detail while understanding the larger data warehouse.
Skills & Competencies:
A minimum of 1.5+ years of working experience as a hands-on data engineering is a must
Advanced Degree in the \xef\xac\x81eld of Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics or equivalent discipline
Strong programming experience with Python, SQL, ETL and ef\xef\xac\x81ciently querying big datasets using SQL
Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) and containerization. Knowledge in Terraform, Github version control is a plus
Hands on experience in Data Collection, Data Ingestion, Data Integration, and Data Operations & Maintenance
Strong analytical skills for identifying data patterns and troubleshooting issues
Effective problem-solving abilities for optimizing data work\xef\xac\x82ows and resolving pipeline challenges.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain the scalable and reliable GCP cloud-based data infrastructure and BI - ELT processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to de\xef\xac\x81ne data architecture and data warehouse requirements
Automate data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration work\xef\xac\x82ows using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and con\xef\xac\x81guration management tools
Deliver production quality, modular, reproducible code in Python, SQL
Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for data pipelines and data-related applications
Keep abreast of the latest developments in the \xef\xac\x81eld through continuous learning and proactively champion promising new methods relevant to the problems at hand.
