Role description

We are seeking a skilled

Data Modeler

to design and implement robust data models that support enterprise applications and analytics. The ideal candidate will have expertise in

ERwin

data modeling principles

MapStruct

for object mapping in Java-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain

logical and physical data models

for enterprise systems. Develop

Entity-Relationship diagrams

and ensure adherence to data modeling standards. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data models. Define and enforce

naming conventions

, standards, and best practices for data modeling. Work closely with DBAs to implement physical models and optimize database performance. Provide

source-to-target mapping specifications

for ETL processes. Ensure compliance with

data governance, security, and quality standards

.

Required Skills

Proficiency in

ERwin

or similar data modeling tools. Expertise in

MapStruct

for Java-based object mapping. Strong understanding of

relational and dimensional modeling concepts

. Hands-on experience with

SQL/PLSQL

for database development and validation. Familiarity with

data architecture

, data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schemas), and metadata management.

Preferred Skills

Retail domain knowledge. Exposure to
