As an Associate Content Ingestion Analyst focused on metadata and media ingestion and quality processes within the Books group of ProQuest - a part of Clarivate, you will be part of a team of Book metadata professionals that completes data ingestion, quality assurance and customer support tasks related to curating our global Books content management system.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

Any graduate or master graduate. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills. Biblio Content knowledge Knowledge of XML and schemas Experience 1-3 Years

It would be great if you also have.

Knowledge of or experience with librarian concepts, such as cataloguing and subject classifications Knowledge of Books metadata standards Strong communication skills in a global environment

What will you be doing in this role

Analyse and prepare files for ingestion using in-house documentation. Validate data in a content management system that may include formatted text, metadata, subject terms, and other editorial enrichment. Develop an understanding of Book publishers & data providers involved in the marketplace.

About the Team:

As a member of the Content team, you will work collaboratively with the Books Content Operations group that curates our comprehensive Books metadata repository, helping libraries, booksellers, publishers, and other information professionals discover titles in the vast Books marketplace. The role will be based in India in any of the 3 locations Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore.

Hours of Work

9 hours including 1-hour break. We follow a hybrid work model (2 days working from office and 3 days from home. This is subjected to changed based on Leadership decision) This is Full time Employment (FTE)
