Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience (5+ years) in

Core Mainframe technologies

:

COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM.

Proven experience in

mainframe re-hosting/migration projects

, specifically on the

Raincode platform

. Practical exposure to

Raincode

for code modifications, compilation, debugging, and unit testing of batch and online components.

Role & responsibilities

Analyze, develop, modify, and maintain mainframe batch and online applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and VSAM. Conduct detailed

impact analysis

for change requests and understand technical design specifications. Implement enhancements and support ongoing development following

SDLC best practices

. Perform

SIT/UAT defect analysis

, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely fixes. Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ensure high-quality deliverables with minimal supervision and demonstrate the ability to

work independently

. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and client representatives.

Good-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of

IMS DB/DC

. Familiarity with

Telecom domain
