Associate Commissioning Engineer

You will be working as Associate Commissioning Engineer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to the Engineering Manager. Responsible to engineer and do start-up of assigned drive projects in time and to provide technical service / support to customers.

Your responsibilities

• Verification of the low voltage drives / motors as per the customer's load list or motor & component list. Optimized engineering of project within the agreed schedule.
• Preparation of list of documents, deliverables, technical specification, application software & necessary graphics and basic engineering drawings like SLD, GA, IGA, fabrication drawings etc., in case of building standalone drive panels (especially for cranes).
• Involve in pre-commissioning protocols, commissioning protocols, commissioning check lists, safety checklists, load trial data, critical commissioning data, commissioning documents like no-load trial graphs, load trial graphs, parameter backup, software backup to be maintained precisely.
• Preparation of commissioning reports based on the project schedule & tracking of warranty reports & replacements.

Your background

• B.Tech / B.E/ Diploma from a reputed university with first class in Electrical / Electronics engineering.
• Required minimum 4+ years of experience in commissioning, knowledge of drives & automation.
• Experience of commissioning / trouble shooting / servicing drive systems preferably in metal industry & industrial cranes.
• Basic knowledge on electrical design standards and international standards like IEC, IS etc., is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of AC/ DC Drives (converters/ inverters), IT/ network/ peripherals like UPS, printer, PC's, server components of DCS.
• Knowledge in application programming & HMI development/ modifications for PLC/ DCS systems.
