Roles and Responsibilities:
Familiar with all loan types including FHA, conventional and VA loans and TRID Concepts.
Checking the data accuracy in the documents (Appraisal, HOI, Tax, Vesting, Title, Payoff, VOE, VOM, Bank statements, Loan Estimate) required for closing of the loan, if needed requested for the corrections with the Processing team.
Disclosing the initial Closing disclosure to the borrower through mailbox, e sign, and Docutech rules.
Validating the escrows and payoff documents, escrow shortages for underwriter final approval.
Updating Lakewood/CLAW UI with loan details and released the closing instructions/Package to the Title Company and Title Company provides Draft CD with settlement fee details.
Preparing Note, Mortgage Statements.
Preparing HUD settlement statements/closing package
0% and 10% tolerance cure scenarios
Performing the work of calculating aggregate escrow as well as preparing appropriate disclosures and applying the lender credits /Tolerance cure as per client to adjust the loan amount and submitting to underwriter for final approval.
Coordinate loan closing time/date/place with schedulers, title companies, etc.
Preparing 10-12 closing packages per day.
Quality checking/ auditing files and mentoring the new employees in the process.
Closely monitor individual Pipeline and Workload.
Completing the given targets as per clients' requirements with 100% Quality.
Qualification & Experience:
Educational qualification and years of experience required in any specific domain/skill for the role:Basic Degree completion (15 years of education).
Prior experience in US mortgage in Closing or CD Prep role (2-5 years of experience).
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and conducting Internet research.
