About the Job

We are looking for Associate Chief Engineer - Instrumentation with following skill set in EPC / PMC projects to join our team based in Chennai, India

Responsibilities:

• Perform database connections to SPI applications.
• Domain Initialization and Backup activity / DBA Activities.
• Setup the project structure - Plant-Area-Unit (PAU) hierarchy. Creating Users, Groups, Department, Plant Hierarchy, Tag Naming Convention, Access Rights Management, User defined tables and User defined Custom Fields.
• Develop Reference Libraries.
• Creation of EDE View/ Browser in reference Explorer and assign to domain.
• Symbol creation and customization of templates for Specification, Wiring, Hook-Up Drawings. Customization of Reports (forms) and Specifications using INFOMAKER.
• Prepare the Power soft report (*.PSR file) and import the same PSR file to retrieve the data in SPI. Upgrade SPI database as per version compatibility SPI Modules Administration, Instrument Index, Process Data, Specification, Wiring, Loop Drawing, Hook-Up.
• Import data from Non-smart tool to SPI & do consistency check
• Able to support for user level queries
• Database audit from SP Administration module

About You:

• Total Experience in Instrumentation Detailed Engineering from 11 years to 17 years
• SPI - Instrument Index, Specification, Wiring, Loop drawings
• Data Sheet, MR, TBT, PR, VDR - Control Valves, On-Off Valves, PSV, Flow Meters, Transmitters, Local Instruments & Gauges, Inst Bulk items etc.
• Data Sheet, MR, TBT, PR, VDR and system architecture of DCS, ESD, FGS, CCTV, Telecom, Paging and security systems
• Instrument Level Sketches, Process/Pneumatic Hook-Ups, Instrument Loop drawings
• Interlock Logic Diagrams, Functional Schematic Diagrams.
• Cable Routing Layout, Instrument Layout, Installation drawings
