Job Description

Demand Planning, PO creation and timely PO acknowledgement & follow up with suppliers.
Manage open POs through confirmations for deliveries, updating ERPs and managing orders till delivery.
Meeting the SLAs as defined.
Closely working on RTSC report.
Creating and timely upgrading the SOPs and other related documents, meeting QMS requirements.
Timely resolution of \xe2\x80\x98On Hold\xe2\x80\x99 invoices for the various sites working closely with site, suppliers, IM team.
Day to day communication with various stakeholders like Site Buyers,SCM Manager,Suppliers with timely actions and resolutions, attending/leading site tier meeting.
Working Knowledge of ERP - SAP.
Closely working on KPI - ME5A, PR to PO, MRBR, Past Due.
Knowledge on cost analysis, cost estimations of outsourced parts, should costing.
Knowledge to read the drawing and co-ordinate with vendor and Engineering.
Negotiation skill to expedite the part and good relationship with vendor.
Sound knowledge of End to End P2P cycle, Product Costing & Manufacturing Processes.
Should be able to initiate and execute projects to achieve Cost Out/Saving, Productivity Targets
Planning daily/weekly material from vendor managed warehouse to different plants
Controlling Inventory at site level and vendor managed warehouse level
Ramp up/down planning for re-sourcing parts.
Monitoring suppliers for capacity issues & long-term planning based on forecasts.
Acting as a Lead Buyer Role for the entire division managed from GSC CoE
Responsible for Driving key Projects for Process standardization
Process Trainings for new team members.

Qualifications

Education level required - Graduate in Engineering or Equivalent/ Post Graduate in any stream

Years and area of experience required - 4 \xe2\x80\x93 6 yrs experience/ 3-4 years of experience for MBA

Technical knowledge-

Purchasing exposure in Manufacturing or Electrical Industry or shared service center
