Responsibilities / Tasks
Role: Software Engineer
Tasks:

• Software design and development

• Development of automation and mechatronics projects according to technical specifications
• Coding of PLC (Siemens/Allen Bradley platforms) and SCADA software (Wonderware platform)
• Debugging and testing of PLC and SCADA software

• Installation and commissioning activities

• Performing I/O tests at customer sites
• Installing and configuring main hardware and software products (SIEMENS, DANFOSS, ROCKWELL, ENDRESS+HAUSER)
• Debugging and customizing PLC and SCADA software
• Supporting the process technologist and the I&C supervisor during commissioning

Task-Specific Skills: Ability to read P&IDs and layout drawings * Strong understanding of electrical drawings

• Available to National/Foreign travel also for long periods
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in multicultural environments

Your Profile / Qualifications
Requirements:

• Degree in Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or Electronics Expert
• Proven previous experience in a similar position (3-6 yrs)
• Commitment to remain in the role for a minimum of 3 years
• Mandatory experience in both PLC (Siemens/Rockwell) and SCADA (Wonderware) systems
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% (domestic and international)

SW Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, ASP.Net, C#
• Excellent knowledge of databases in MS SQL Server environment
• Excellent knowledge of SCADA systems (Wonderware InTouch and System Platform preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of Siemens/Rockwell PLC programming (TIA Portal, RSLogix/Studio 5000)

Language Skills:

• Proficient in written and spoken English, including technical terminology
• Additional languages will be considered an asset
