Job Description


:

Role Proficiency: Review advise and negotiate issues involving customer contracts. Associate attorney is expected to provide legal services to support one or more specific business units in the organization as assigned by the reporting attorney. Works as a trainee under very close supervision.

Outcomes: * Draft review and may negotiate various agreements as directed by attorneys and obtain feedback on draft agreements from stakeholders and provide consolidated comments to the relevant stakeholders

  • Perform administrative duties including creating and preparing routing materials proofreading verifying and editing material for extreme accuracy and clarity
  • Analyse legal issues conduct legal research work and draft summary reports
  • Prepare and manage of power of attorneys and shareholder or other resolutions.
  • Review legal plans in response to changing needs of the organization laws and government policies
  • Coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure the project progresses on schedule to and within prescribed budget. Draft agreements and corporate resolutions
  • Provide legal advice and review responses to RFPs as they come in and maintain a database of responses
  • Perform a variety of tasks as well as special projects as required
  • Develop and maintain an effective line of communication with other departments that we work closely
  • Liaising with senior members of staff.
  • Use discretion and judgment and work independently
Measures of Outcomes: * Adherence to the SLA
  • # of request processed per month without escalation
  • Percentage of cases solved/resolved successfully in-house
Outputs Expected: Administrative Duties: * Proof reading

  • Excellent in Microsoft Suite and Adobe Acrobat Professional
Knowledge Examples: * Knowledge in the field of law
  • Require more than 0-3 years in compliance or legal area
  • Require Juris Doctor degree or equivalent
  • Require license attorney with an active membership of a state bar or equivalent

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of contract law and be able to effectively redline and review of cross border software contracts.
