Job Description


The purpose of this position is to use established practices and guidelines applying educational knowledge of architectural principles as listed. This role has the responsibility to promote Fluor\'s competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence. This position supports the Architectural Area Lead or Lead on assigned projects or performs work on routine scope architectural assignments and performs specific and limited portions of architectural assignments. . Develop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline documents for all phases of projects . Develop estimates, schedules, progress reports, and key quantities tracking reports . Monitor material estimates and quantities . Participate in equipment and material procurement activities . Perform and check basic architectural design and calculations, specify simple equipment, and solve problems of simple technical complexity . Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution . Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines . May need to travel to attend to business related matters . Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality . Other duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements . Accredited professional architectural degree based on country requirements and no required previous years of work-related experience (new graduate) . Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors and visitors . Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete job . Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province and federal/national statutes and guidelines . Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Preferred Qualifications . Participation in NCARB AXP Program . Basic knowledge of: o Site master planning o Architectural programming o Conceptual design of buildings and sites o Renderings and 3D visualization o Sustainable design . Basic knowledge of discipline codes and standards, and means and methods of construction To be Considered Candidates: Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
