Job Summary:



The Expense Auditor is responsible for reviewing and auditing employee expense reports to ensure compliance with corporate policies, travel guidelines, and reimbursement standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:



Audit and validate expense reports and receipts submitted by employees Ensure compliance with company travel and expense policies Flag discrepancies, missing documentation, or policy violations Communicate with employees to resolve issues and clarify submissions Approve or reject expense claims based on audit findings Maintain accurate records of audits and approvals Generate reports on audit findings and trends for management review Collaborate with Accounts Payable and HR teams to streamline processes Assist in policy updates and employee training on expense procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field 1-3 years of experience in expense auditing or accounts payable Familiarity with expense management systems (e.g., Workday) or Accounts payable (not mandatory) Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Customer service mindset with a professional approach
