Analysts on this exciting team will be aligned with Gartner's most visionary experts to directly help clients by writing research and delivering compelling interactions.

An Associate Research Analyst aligned with the CSP - Communications Service Provider team will conduct research and analysis in the dynamic global market that spans traditional telcos, new startups, and cloud vendors. You will also analyze demand side trends from enterprises changing their tools in response to changes in their operations including remote workers, collaboration solutions, and securing their communication data to name a few. On the supply side, emerging and legacy vendors are racing to use technology to optimize their operations and grow revenue in support of enterprise IT and business initiatives.

It is important that you can comprehend highly technical subject matter and communicate effectively about technical design patterns and best practices. Hands-on experience working with data and/or analytic tools and communication services is an advantage.

As a Gartner analyst you must be a motivated, organized, critical thinker, with an ability to deliver to fixed time-bound commitments, with high quality. To support these conversations you will research markets, practices and trends and produce written research for Gartner clients to read and apply. The analyst will be collaborating with their peers of all levels of seniority and geographies with poise.

What you'll do:

As a Gartner analyst you will meet with clients on the phone, in a videoconference, or face-to-face. In every client interaction, you will help clients solve difficult puzzles that lead to better performance. To support these conversations, your own and the teams advice is based on thought leading market research and best practices for Gartner clients to download and apply. You will complete the following:

Conduct research and analysis in specific areas of expertise targeting client's key initiatives.

Write high quality, clear, actionable, advisory research documents.

Respond to client questions, create materials for and deliver to clients in person, via teleconference, video conference or webinar and event presentations#LI-SS1

Remain ahead of the curve on developments and issues within these specified areas as well as applicable adjacent areas.

What you'll need:

Graduate or Graduate + MBA from leading schools

At least 3+ years' experience working with enterprise communications in a technology, marketing, or sales focused role.

Working knowledge of the data analytic tools

Excellent knowledge in the communication related technologies such as 5G, SD-WAN, SASE, CPaaS, AI, data analytics, edge computing.
