Job Description

We are seeking a responsible, culturally aware, and empathetic individual to serve as the Hostel Warden for our International Hostel. The Warden will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, discipline, safety, and well-being of international students residing in the hostel. The ideal candidate will foster an inclusive, respectful, and homely environment for students from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

Student Welfare

: Act as the primary point of contact for international hostel residents. Provide emotional and administrative support to students adjusting to a new culture and environment. Organize orientation sessions and community-building activities.

Discipline & Administration

: Maintain hostel discipline and ensure students adhere to hostel rules. Conduct regular room inspections and ensure cleanliness, safety, and orderliness. Maintain records of attendance, grievances, and maintenance issues.

Safety & Security

: Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed, including fire safety and emergency procedures. Coordinate with campus security and medical staff in case of emergencies.

Communication & Coordination

: Liaise with university departments for student needs (e.g., academic, health, counseling). Address complaints and grievances with fairness and sensitivity. Communicate important notices, events, and policy changes effectively.

Cultural Sensitivity & Inclusivity

: Promote an atmosphere of mutual respect and inclusivity among residents. Be sensitive to the cultural, religious, and dietary needs of international students. Help resolve intercultural conflicts when they arise.

Pay: ?9,325.88 - ?32,260.48 per month
