We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President-

Workday Finance Manager

This role serves as a strategic liaison between

HR

,

ESS (Enterprise Services & Solutions, formerly GBS)

, and our

IT Development Factory

. The consultant will play a pivotal role in translating complex business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions, guiding the HRIT roadmap, and ensuring alignment between HR stakeholders and technology delivery teams.

Responsibilities

Business-IT Translation:

Act as a bridge between HR/ESS and IT, translating business requirements into clear, actionable functional and technical specifications for the Workday platform.

HRIT Roadmap Oversight:

Drive the evolution of the HRIT roadmap in collaboration with HR and ESS leadership, ensuring strategic alignment and prioritization of initiatives within your assigned area (e.g. Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Absence, Benefits, etc.).

Solution Delivery:

Oversee and support the delivery of high-quality Workday solutions, ensuring on-time, in-scope, and in-budget execution in partnership with IT and external vendors.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Maintain strong relationships with HR and ESS stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction with progress, timely communication, and effective management of expectations across all Workday-related initiatives.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and best practices to optimize

the employee

experience and operational efficiency within the Workday ecosystem.

Governance & Compliance:

Ensure adherence to HRIT governance, change management protocols, data privacy, and security standards.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications/ skills

Workday experience across multiple modules (e.g. Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Absence, Benefits, Security, Reporting.

Having proven skill set in

role

of Project Management with 10+ years of experience.

Proven experience acting as a translator between business and technical teams, with a strong understanding of both HR processes and Workday configuration.

Experience in leading or supporting HRIT projects end-to-end, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment.

Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a consultative mindset and ability to influence without authority.

Deep familiarity with Workday tools and functionality; experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar platforms is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources

, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Workday certification(s) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Proven expertise in Workday Core HCM and other HR platforms.

Strong track record of leading HR technology transformations and system implementations.

Deep knowledge of HR systems strategy, governance, and optimization.

Ability to drive digital transformation and automation in HR processes.

Strong project management and change leadership skills.

Expertise in data analytics, workforce insights, and reporting tools.

Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.

Language Skills:

Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
