Job Description

Our client is Manufacturing Company , having 8 to 12 Plants mainly in Maharashtra and also in other par tof India, are searching for Assistant Vice President Talent Acquisition for Corporate office .

Location : Mumbai

CTC : 20.00 L to 25.00 L

Qualification : MBA /MSW /PGDM -HR

Experience : 10 to 16 years

Objectives of this role :

Provide input to ensure that teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals

Ensure that staffing needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind

Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants

Create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates

Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers

Key Responsibility Areas :

1. Talent Acquisition-Policy and Processes

- Define, Communicate and implement recruitment strategy in line with organizations' objectives and manpower planning in consultation with the CHRO.

- Prepare annual recruitment plans based on manpower plans and the business projections. Interact closely with the Vertical Heads and Plant HRs for this.

- Prepare recruitment budgets based on annual manpower planning

- Develop a long term effective sourcing model to ensure an optimal sourcing and cost of hiring - choose appropriate sources of hiring both external and internal.

- Create and implement standard terms and conditions with recruitment agencies ensuring best cost.

- Enhance usage of alternate channels for recruitment such as Employee Referrals, Internal Job Posting, In House Data Bank etc. and aim at reducing vendor dependency

- Leverage the use of technology like the internet to post vacancies and use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.

- Develop and implement monthly recruitment plans to meet the immediate business needs for all open and potential positions in a time bound manner

- Consult with the C&B team on salary offers and provide inputs to the compensation team based on observed market practices

- Ensure compliance to the recruitment policy for all hiring being done across levels and locations.

- Benchmark recruitment practices and adopt the best practices

2. Selection Process (Lateral Hires).

- Define the interview process and panel composition for various levels of recruitment.

- Coordinate with departments and panel members regarding recruitment and interviewing process.

- Be a core member of the interview team for recruitment for all Manager and above Levels.

- Prepare offers in consultation with the C&B team, for middle and senior level hiring and effectively negotiate salary.

- Ensure completion of reference and background checks, pre-employment medical check-ups, and any other selection criteria for shortlisted candidates.

3. Graduate Trainee Engineer (GET ) and other Campus Interview :

- Identify list of campuses, initiate interaction with them and participate in the selection process

- Design the selection process for campus recruitment in consultation with the other HR verticals and CHRO.

- Identify panel members for specific campuses, communicate with them regarding the process and requirement

- Be a core member of the campus hiring team for key identified campuses.

- Coach and guide panel members regarding the selection process for campus hiring

Joining and Induction:

- Design organization wide joining process, and induction programme for various levels of hires in consultation with the Plant HR Managers and L&D Head.

- Design various formats for the induction process including the program content, induction calendar, employee feedback process and the inductor's feedback process, and ensure implementation of the same across plants.

- Develop formats and standard communication for the joining process to ensure a seamless joining and a good 'first experience' of the employee, the same needs to be provided to the Plant HR for implementation.
