Become part of Barclays Assistant Vice President-Stress Testing . You will be part of the Investment Bank OBI team and will be responsible for coordination, Consolidation of data and analysis related to the Planning and Stress Testing. The data is used for both, internal reporting for senior management consumption and for external disclosures.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Master's degree (preferably Accounting/Finance) or equivalent years of services. Experience in managing large set of critical stakeholders, regulatory engagements, communication, influencing for generating positive outcomes. Experience on regulatory reporting is an added advantage. Good level of PC skills (Microsoft suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik sense, to help drive process reengineering. Effective communication skills.

Big 4/FTSE 100/Management Consultancy background. Broad knowledge of all banking products, business flows and technologies. Appreciation of current / future changes in the Regulatory environment that are / will impact the bank's Stress testing processes and requirements. Good understanding and experience of regulatory capital and stress testing requirements.

This role will be based out of Chennai & Gurugram.

Purpose of the role

To develop and implement the bank's financial plans and stress testing methodologies by assessing the bank's resilience under various economic scenarios.

Accountabilities

Development and implementation of stress testing methodologies and analysis of the results to identify potential vulnerabilities, assess capital adequacy, and inform risk mitigation strategies. Management of the bank's financial risks, including development and implementation of risk management strategies and communication of financial risks to relevant stakeholders. Analysis of the bank's capital position and assessment of its ability to meet regulatory capital requirements, development of capital management strategies to optimise capital utilisation and evaluation of the impact of capital allocation decisions on the bank's risk profile and financial performance. Orchestration of process cycles for the Planning and Stress Testing FTC and project managing delivery of the Planning Process and stress tests). Documentation of requirements prescribed by the Regulator, Process/Data Owner Tracking and reporting cycle progress via P&ST Steer Co, POC, Working Groups and the workflow tool. . Management of data, dataflows and data quality from contributors - input through to report submission. . Management of BAU systems to enable a quick outcome and iterative generation of Capital or Funding plans and separately drive process reengineering initiatives. . Ownership of the control's environment, standards, conformance, partnering with BIA to ensure the FTC meets its controls and governance objectives. . Provision of ongoing governance support including but not limited to Regulatory liaison, Group & BBUK Board engagement, Group Attestation & KPMG engagement.
