Job Title Assistant Vice President - Security

Summary This position is responsible for implementing the Security program across Delhi NCR. This includes commercial buildings, retails and Malls. This role will be based in Delhi NCR India.



This role requires a strong experience in security management operations, project management, investigations local agency liaison and security operations center monitoring. A strong understanding and capability in security risk management (including civil unrest, terrorism) will be crucial. Experience with multinational organizations and operations within the SEZ and ambit will be a key advantage.

Key aspects of managing the function include, but are not limited to the following:
- Partner with Corporate and International Security to implement Enterprise Corporate Security policies,
- Procedures and standards and
- Proactively manage security risks across all the sites..

Delivery of services

Lead strategic planning, business objective development and execution strategies and management of all assigned security functions.

Develop and implement local physical security procedures, standards and training that is consistent with Enterprise standards.

Lead complex security or investigative projects and program improvement initiatives across country and geographies.

Routinely communicate security trends, strategies and incident data to senior management and make formal presentations to support business objectives.

Develop and manage the department resources, capital, and expense budget.

Drive process improvement and expense management initiatives

Risk Management

Proactive physical security management/regulatory compliance relating to the geographies which can influence the operations.

Engage with business heads, site management teams, Crisis management team, Enterprise Corporate Security and site security managers to build emergency plans. Build strong incident management capabilities.

Team Management

Lead and drive organisation\xe2\x80\x99s values and culture across the Security Team. Build and maintain a diverse, talented, and educated risk focused team who are responsible for developing and providing products and services that strive to mitigate risk and loss, conduct risk analysis, comply with applicable regulations and Wells Fargo policies, procedures and standards.

Desired experience profile

  • Required to have 15+ years\xe2\x80\x99 overall experience with minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles with corporate security management, preferably with a multinational corporation.
  • Experience with handling commercials and retails sites would be a distinct advantage.
  • Qualifications \xe2\x80\x93 Graduate. Armed Forces or Law enforcement background will be an advantage.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Security Risk Management or a related topic would be desirable
  • Must have good understanding of global trends and practices in security management.
  • Strong violence free workplace program development skills, workplace threat assessment skills and threat mitigation strategy development
  • Knowledge of physical security technology related to access control, video, and alarm systems
  • Must be able to demonstrate true results in impacting business outcomes and must be an innovative leader.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines, coupled with a commitment to the highest quality standards and an eye for detail
  • Team player, with the ability to gain confidence and trust at all levels of the organization, leveraging networks and overall strength of the enterprise
  • Excellent people management experience including coaching, teaching and mentoring of team members
  • Demonstrates a high degree of reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness in all areas
  • Takes ownership for responsibilities and for management of risk exposure.
  • A seasoned, relationship-driven executive who will have the style and sensitivity to work within a highly complex business environment. Multi-cultural sensitivity a must.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal); proven ability to interact with and effectively support a wide range of consumers, up to and including senior leaders
  • Exhibits excellent problem solving and analytical skill
