Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Practice Lead - Mechanical Engineering (AVP)!
We are looking for a highly experienced Engineering expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices, AI implementation in the Engineering process, and will play a crucial role in driving innovation and excellence in our projects. This position requires a strong understanding of industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering.
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mechanical engineering. Drive innovation by proposing new technologies and methodologies to enhance product offerings.
• Develop and enforce quality standards for mechanical engineering projects. Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure reliability and performance.
• Provide expert guidance on mechanical design, analysis, and implementation. Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes to ensure optimal solutions.
• Provide expertise and guidance in identifying opportunities and implementing AI tools in Engineering processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training sessions to enhance team capabilities. Share knowledge through workshops and seminars.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery in digital twin, digital thread or MBE space.
• Experience in designing and developing solutions in product design space using the latest AI technologies.
• Strong understanding of materials science, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Experience with gen AI applications in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices related to mechanical design.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools
