In this role, you'll be part of Genpact's transformation under GenpactNext, as we lead the shift to Agentic AI Solutionsxe2x80x94domain-specific, autonomous systems that redefine how we deliver value to clients. You'll help drive the adoption of innovations like the Genpact AP Suite in finance and accounting, with more Agentic AI products set to expand across service lines.
Responsibilities
We are seeking an AVP to lead data engineering teams in designing and delivering modern, scalable data solutions using Azurexe2x80x99s advanced services. This role focuses on building enterprise-grade architectures, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering collaboration across teams.
Leadership and Team Management
xc2xb7 Recruit, mentor, and manage data engineering teams, driving alignment with organizational goals.
xc2xb7 Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure seamless data workflows.
xc2xb7 Deliver Azure-based data projects on time, emphasizing scalability and innovation.
Azure Data Architecture
xc2xb7 Design and implement data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks, and Data Lake Storage.
xc2xb7 Develop real-time and batch processing pipelines with Azure Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, and Functions.
xc2xb7 Optimize data storage and integration using Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and Synapse Pipelines.
Operational Excellence
xc2xb7 Monitor and optimize solutions with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
xc2xb7 Manage ETL/ELT workflows for efficiency and reliability.
xc2xb7 Address data drift and performance challenges through proactive optimization.
Governance and Security
xc2xb7 Enforce data governance with Azure Purview and secure architectures with Azure Key Vault and AAD.
xc2xb7 Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Innovation and Optimization
xc2xb7 Leverage Azure Databricks for advanced analytics and machine learning.
xc2xb7 Evaluate and integrate emerging Azure tools, such as Synapse Link, to improve efficiency.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications:
xc2xb7 Expertise in Azure services: Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks, and Data Lake Storage.
xc2xb7 Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT workflows and real-time processing.
xc2xb7 Proven leadership in managing data engineering teams and delivering large-scale solutions.
xc2xb7 Knowledge of data governance and security frameworks in Azure environments.
Preferred Skills
xc2xb7 Experience with Azure Purview, Machine Learning, and big data technologies like Spark or Kafka.
xc2xb7 Azure Data Engineer or Solutions Architect certification.
