Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Credit Risk
In this role, you will be part of Credit Risk COE Operations & will be responsible to drive digital transformation initiatives for your portfolio size of 100+ FTE. The role reports to COE leader/ Cluster Tower lead depending on the size of you. As AVP Credit you will be responsible for all aspects of your portfolio including people, process, client in all phases of cycle from pre-sales, sales, solution, transition, transformation, and operation
Responsibilities

  • Maintain adherence to Credit & Risk Management policies and procedures covering credit evaluation, collection, and exposure control.
  • Maintain portfolio credit quality.
  • Oversea and approve setting of credit lines and payment terms.
  • Manage day to day relationship with credit insurance broker and underwriter.
  • Credit review and manage customers as needed.
  • Inform management of credit and collections issues.
  • Liaise with commercial leadership and guide sales staff on trading parameters / requirements.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
  • MBA Finance preferred
  • Relevant experience in Credit Risk domain
  • Intellectual agility and analytical outlook
  • Ability to independently manage tower lead level stake holders
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
  • Experience in commercial credit risk management incl. experience evaluating significant credit lines for Aviation/Marine related companies.
  • The successful candidate will have credit management / underwriting experience assessing financial wherewithal of small to medium size businesses.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including assessing financial statements (P&Ls, balance sheets, cash flow statements).
  • A thorough understanding of legal documentation and collateralization including, corporate guarantees, Letters of Credit, NDAs etc.
  • A firm understanding of derivative tools (swaps, FFPs etc.), how they work and are implemented.
  • Credit experience required in at least one of the following sectors: banking, commercial finance, insurance, or oil & gas.
  • Regular engagement with the Commercial teams globally to provide Credit support and build relationships.
